(hereinafter “Provider”) on this website (hereinafter “Offer”).

The legal foundations of data protection can be found in Germany’s Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG)), Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz (TMG)) and DSGVO/GDPR (May 25th, 2018).

Access data / Server log files
Provider (or its Webspace provider) collects data about every access to Offer (in server log files). The access data include: Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of the data retrieval, data volume transferred, notification of the retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (the site visited previously), IP address and requesting provider.

Provider only uses the protocol data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, optimizing and the security of Offer.

Use of personal data
Personal data is information with the aid of which a person’s identity can be determined, i.e. personal details that can be traced back to a person. These include, for instance, the name, e-mail address or telephone number, but also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or the websites a person visits.

Provider only gathers, uses and passes on personal data if this is permissible by law or the user consents to the collection of the data.

Contacting
When contacting Provider (for example using a contact form or e-mail), the user’s information is stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case further inquiries follow.

Newsletter
With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offerings. If you wish to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address from you as well as information that enable us to confirm that you are the owner of the stated e-mail address, or that its owner consents to receiving the newsletter. These data are only used for sending the newsletter and are not passed on to third parties.

We record the registration for the newsletter electronically, storing in particular the date of the registration. This storing of data also serves as proof in the event that a third party misuses the e-mail address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorized person or owner.

You can revoke your consent to the storing of the data and e-mail address and their use for the sending of the newsletter, using the link in the newsletter itself, in your profile or by notifying us.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that enable specific, device-related information to be stored on the user’s access device (PC, smart phone, etc.). They serve to improve the user-friendliness of websites and are thus beneficial to the user (e.g. storage of login data). They also serve to record the statistical data pertaining to the use of the website and to analyze them in order to improve the offering. Users can influence the use of the cookies.

Most browsers dispose over an option for limiting or preventing the saving of cookies. We point out, however, that cookies make using the site faster and more comfortable. You can manage many online advertising cookies from companies at the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site  http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/.

Google Analytics
This Offer uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies: text files that are stored on the user’s computer and that enable the use of the website to be analyzed. The information about the use of this website generated by the cookie is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA.

In the event of IP anonymization being activated on this website, Google shortens the IP address of the user within the member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the convention on the European Economic Area in advance. The full IP address is only transmitted to the Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. The IP anonymization is active on this website.

Google will use this information by order of the operator of this website to assess the user’s use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to render further services to the website’s operator that relate to the use of the website and the Internet.

As Google Analytics is used together with a Google advertising service (Google Remarketing, see below), the data recorded by Google Analytics may also be brought together with data from third-party cookies (from websites from other providers). You can find out more about this at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Users can prevent cookies from being stored on their computer by setting their browser software accordingly. However, this Offer points out to the users that they may then not be able to fully use all functions of this website. The users can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and data relating to their use of the website (incl. their IP address) from being sent to or processed by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin made available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Alternatively to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, click on this link to prevent the recording of data by Google Analytics within this website in the future. In such case, an opt-out cookie is stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click on this link again.

Use of Google Remarketing
This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. This function serves to present website visitors within the Google advertising network advertising that is related to their personal interests. A cookie is stored in the website visitor’s browser, which enables the visitor to be recognized when he/she access websites that belong to Google advertising network. On these sites, the visitor can be presented with advertising that relates to content that the user has called up previously on websites that use the remarketing function from Google.

This can lead to a linking of data from other websites. When you are registered with your Google account, Google can also link the data with your Google account. The purpose and scope of the data collection by Google and their further processing and use can be found in the data protection notice of Google: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

If you do not want Google Remarketing to be used, you can deactivate it using the settings at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can also deactivate the use of cookies for interest-related advertising using the advertising network initiative, by following the instructions at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

Personalization
This website uses an algorithm for marketing purposes, with the aid of which content can be displayed that is individually tailored to a given user. Using cookies, data is gathered pertaining to the visitor’s user behavior (e.g. which content they view and how often). These data are analyzed and serve as the basis for the calculation for which content is shown to which user. The cookies gather data in anonymized form, and not personal data. If you wish to deactivate this function, please click here.

You can choose not to allow a personal profile to be compiled by deactivating the "Cookie" function in your browser (see section "cookies"). If you give us your consent, we will also use your data to inform you about our products and new developments. The user has the right to apply for and receive information about the personal data stored pertaining to him/herself, free of charge. The user also has the right to correct incorrect data, to block or delete his/her personal data, in as much as no statutory justification for the processing and use of the data or a statutory retention obligation counteracts this right.

You can cancel the subscription at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided in the newsletter.

Social Bookmarks & Plugins

On our website so-called social bookmarks (eg from LinkedIN, Twitter and Xing) are integrated. Social bookmarks are Internet bookmarks that allow users of such a service to collect links and news items. These are only included on our website as a link to the corresponding services. After clicking on the integrated graphic, you will be redirected to the page of the respective provider, i. only then will user information be transmitted to the respective provider. For information on the handling of your personal data when using this website, please refer to the respective privacy policy of the provider.

DXBe uses so-called social plugins ('buttons') of social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Heap, Google Tag Manager, Poptin, Connecto, GetSiteControl, Drift and Hotjar.

When you visit our websites these buttons are deactivated by default, i.e. without your intervention they will not send any data to the respective social networks. Before you are able to use these buttons, you must activate them by clicking on them. They then remain active until you deactivate them again or delete your cookies (please refer to 'Cookies').

After their activation, a direct link to the server of the respective social network is established. The contents of the button are then transmitted from the social network directly to your browser and incorporated in the website by it.

After activation of a button, the social network can retrieve data, independently of whether you interact with the button or not. If you are logged on to a social network, the network can assign your visit to the website to your user account. A social network cannot assign a visit to other DXBe website unless and until you activate the respective button there as well.

If you are a member of a social network and do not wish it to combine data retrieved from your visit to our websites with your membership data, you must log out from the social network concerned before activating the buttons.

We have no influence on the scope of data that is collected by the social networks through their buttons. The data use policies of the social networks provide information on the purpose and extent of the data that they collect, how this data is processed and used, the rights available to you and the settings that you can use to protect your privacy.
